Dental Care From The Experts!

James Dinger, DMD

Dr. Dinger grew up in Utah and attended Brigham Young University to pursue a career in teaching high school mathematics. His career plans changed after suffering a concussion and facial trauma during an intramural soccer game. Over the next several months, he saw many different dental specialists and became interested in dentistry.

After graduating from college and earning a teaching certificate, Dr. Dinger enrolled in the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and graduated in 2010.

After dental school, Dr. Dinger began his career in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, working for Indian Health Services. He then relocated to Vancouver, Washington, where he worked as an associate dentist. His family is now honored to be part of the Corvallis community. They love this close-knit community and college town and look forward to staying here forever.

Dr. Dinger feels a great sense of responsibility to his patients. He desires that everyone leaves the office with a positive experience and a smile. Patients are often overwhelmed at what goes on at a dental office. He strives to help patients feel calm and cared for with his conservative approach to dentistry and focus on quality care. He welcomes patients who suffer from dental anxiety or have not seen a dentist in many years. He places great importance on staying up-to-date on all the latest techniques and technologies by attending continuing education courses throughout the year.

Dr. Dinger has been married since 2003 and has four children – two in high school and two in middle school. His free time is spent with his family. They enjoy playing board games, building with Legos, and reading together. They also enjoy being outside riding bikes, playing at the park, doing yard work and collecting sand dollars. His favorite color is blue and his dream vacation is sitting around a campfire near a cabin on a lake.
